Kindergarten Baby

Just a year and a half before our world fell apart, the Warrior Princess achieved something that many thought she would never do.  She completed her first year of Kindergarten in a mainstream school.  She comes out very last in this video, and this Mama had tears in her eyes waiting for her.  I knew more than anyone what a feat this had been for her.  Thanks to an amazing school and a dedicated support team, Aziza was able to attend school with her peers.  She was such a tiny girl ... still a toddler with a wobbly gait... wearing a size 12-18 month dress.  I will never forget another child on the playground excitedly exclaiming to his parent, "See that baby there?  She goes to our school!!"  It was not an insult, but instead an awe-filled comment from a child who could see how special my sweet Aziza was.  If you cannot see the video below, please click HERE.

I enjoyed watching her, brought tears to my eyes. The higher powers knew what they were doing by placing her in your arms. Amazing Mother, you were both very lucky. You put a lifetime of experience and joy in her years

sweet baby girl.. ..this was just around the time I had my pleasure meeting this sweet Little Princess for the first time. I remember her sweet smile, her great love for water (play LOL), even though at times it was not very functional and her busy body moving from one activity to another. She was very special and she is truly missed!
